"Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit."
A Fellow Worker is one whose pleasure it would be to join in the labor of another person's work. Artists are often portioned with the abilities to tell a story while they are less often portioned with the means to let it be heard. Others are well portioned to help a story be told, but find themselves less likely to be the story teller. This uneven portioning of talents is a good design by God that keeps our individual boasting in check and provides opportunity for us all to humbly learn about our part and place in the body of Christ.
John says to Gaius, "Beloved, it is a faithful thing that you do in all your efforts for these brothers, strangers as they are, who testified to your love before the church. You will do well to send them on their journey in a manner worthy of God. For they went out for the sake of the name, accepting nothing from the Gentiles. Therefore we ought to support people like these, that we may be fellow workers for the truth" (III John 5-8).
Part of the mission of The Gaius Project is to send out, in a manner worthy of God, those artists who go out for the sake of the name of Jesus Christ. It is our pleasure to be Fellow Workers for the truth of God with such artists!

TO PRIZE HUMILITY, AS HUMILITY IS MORE VALUABLE AND MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN THE MOST AESTHETICALLY PLEASING WORK HELD IN THE HAND OF PRIDE.
